For the last 30 years we have offered our guests unforgettable holidays at the heart of the Tyrolean Alps. Discover the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Pitztal and enjoy a stay at our hotel where you are awaited by an ambience of pure well-being. The Montana is not only the ideal destination for those who appreciate a cosy and informal atmosphere. It’s the perfect starting point for a sheer endless number of activities regardless of the season. From Arzl you can reach the most exciting ski and hiking areas in Tyrol in a minimum of time. Apart from a great variety of activities for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers, visitors of Arzl find a wide range of cultural activities here, as well.

The comfortably furnished rooms and the vitality area with sauna, steam bath and whirlpool allow you to get the rest and relaxation you’re looking for. In summer you can enjoy some sun at our wonderful sun terrace and in winter you can curl up in front of the fireplace in our lobby.

Your hosts

The Blondeel-Smets have been living in Austria for the last 50 years and have run the Montana for 30 years now. Your host Eliane is there for you from your arrival until your departure and helps you with everything you need. With her kind and pleasant nature she helps make your stay as pleasant as possible. Her husband Hubert is in charge of the maintenance of the hotel and the garden. Nevertheless he is always happy to spend time with his guests to play some golf or go hiking or skiing.

Mario, their son, is the chef of the Montana and prepares wonderful delicacies. He and his team are well-known both for their traditional Austrian dishes, as well as for the international specialties they prepare every day.
